HCB Alumni Tea Talk at iKang Evergreen Medical 哈佛校友会爱康君安行

On June 13th, Mr. Zhang Ligang, Vice President of the Harvard Club of Beijing, founder and chairman of iKang Healthcare Group, give us a personal tour of the iKang Evergreen Medical International center and share his story of founding and building iKang over 10 years. iKang is the largest private preventive healthcare service provider in China and went public on Nasdaq in April.

Mr. Zhang talked about his time at Harvard during which he was heavily involved with the Chinee student community. He joined Sohu.com in the late 1990s and later founded eLong.com and subsequently iKang.com. He discussed the strategic choices and challenges he faced when running iKang, including why he built the iKang Evergreen Medical International center. He answered questions from the audience that ranged from entrepreneurship to healthcare trends to conclude the event.
 
6月13日，哈佛北京校友会副会长，爱康集团创始人、董事长张黎刚先生亲自带领校友们参观爱康君安健疗国际中心，并且分享了他在过去的10年中创建和发展爱康的经历。爱康是中国最大的私营健疗服务提供商,并且于今年4月在纳斯达克上市。

张黎刚先生谈论了他在哈佛大学度过的时光，并回忆起当时他是怎样积极参与中国留学生群体的。他在20世纪90年代加入了搜狐，随后建立了艺龙网和爱康网。他讨论了在经营爱康的过程中遇到的战略抉择和挑战，包括他为什么建立了爱康君安健疗国际中心。最后，他回答了校友们提出的问题，包括创业以及医疗行业的趋势。
